Biennale of Venice 2019
The Venice Biennale was born in 1895 and is considered one of the most famous and prestigious
cultural institutions in the world. At the forefront of research and promotion of contemporary
art trends, the Biennale organizes in all its fields - Art (1895), Architecture (1980), Cinema (1932),
Dance (1999) Music (1930), Theater (1934 ) - exhibition and research activities.
At the Arte Biennale, whose number of participating countries rose from 59 (in 1999) to 89 in
2015, world primacy was recognized among contemporary art exhibitions.
This primacy has also been recognized at the Architecture Biennale.
This year the Biennale will be open to the public for its art exhibitions from May 11
to November 25, taking advantage of the opportunity to visit and visit our wonderful Venice
